Photo Storage - Preserving The Memories
Photo storage is the most important category to conquer after taking all of your pictures.
- First you must decide what kind of storage you need.

Storing Your Photos
- Large Portraits - These can be stored in a photo envelope and placed upright in a storage box. You can also gather your portrait photos and make a portrait album.
- Everyday Snapshots - These are your 3x5 or 4x6 inch pictures that you take on a regular basis. These can be stored in a photo box or using photo album storage.
- Storage Box - These are probably an easier choice than a photo album. Most come with dividers that you can write on to help organize your photos.
- Photo Album - An archival photo album is a good choice. Just remember you must have a place to store them. Buying a group of albums that are all the same or compliment each other is important if you plan to display the albums on a bookshelf or table.
- Photo Negatives - Place your negatives in sleeve protectors and transfer them to a photo album. Another choice is in a photo storage envelope.
Like most organizing tasks photo storage should be kept simple . This way you are more likely to keep up with the system and preserve your photos beautifully over the years.
